I grew up in Glendalough, Co. Wicklow, surrounded by the simple magic of homemade food.
My mum ran a tearooms and guesthouse. Everything was made from scratch from scones to wildberry jams and homemade lemonade. Those early days during the summer holidays helping mum in the kitchen taught me the power of care, craft, and community—the same principles that inspire everything we do at Maria Lucia Bakes.
